Chewelah Food Bank

Fighting hunger is our flagship focus. Funds raised at the annual Charity Chicks golf scramble - including silent auctions and raffles'o directly to the Chewelah Food Bank.

Members have shared that a single tournament can raise about $8,000 for local food support. If you cannot play, a tax-deductible gift still feeds neighbors.

Scholarships for graduates

We award $1,000 scholarships to Jenkins Junior/Senior High graduating seniors pursuing postsecondary education'wo-year or four-year college, university, private career school, or trade school.

Applications and essays are typically returned through the school counseling office. Questions may be directed to Sue Fisk.

Snack Pack Program

Each week, Charity Chicks help assemble about 100 snack packs so local students - including kids at Gess Elementary'ave nourishment that supports learning and wellbeing.

Community members can help by donating supplies or funds earmarked for student snacks.

Neighbor-to-neighbor help

Beyond signature programs, we respond when Chewelah families face sudden needs'ecause small-town charity works best when it stays personal.
